Forthcoming events

A downloadable PDF version of our current programme is available here: SACV Programme October 2019 to January 2020.

New members are always welcome!

All of SACV’s one-day activities take place on Sundays. The sites at which we work are in and around Greater Manchester; you can arrange with the co-ordinators to make your own way to a site and meet us there, or we’ll try to arrange shared lifts when possible. If you want to come to an event please contact the co-ordinators to say so, and to confirm final arrangements. If you have questions about the group or the work we do, please contact us here or contact any of the co-ordinators listed on the programme. Please also contact us if you would like to be added to our e-mailing list for reminders of future activities.

As listed on the programme, we have a social pub night, at varying locations, on (usually) the last Thursday of odd-numbered months.

Three times a year we have a weekend away in the Peak District National Park doing a full weekend’s conservation with the Peak Park Ranger Service.
